> Responsibilities:
✓Be first level of contact for database related issues
✓Follow incident management process
Installation and configuration of SQL Server (2014 & higher versions)
✓Creation and decommission of databases for Prod and non-prod environments
✓Database backup and restore processes
✓User and access management (grant and revoke permissions)
✓MS SQL Server job monitoring and Job schedules management
✓Support existing High Availability & DR Solutions (Log shipping, Availability groups, Clustered instances).
✓Disk space issue resolution
✓Timely Escalation of issues
>Expected Skills:
✓Works with global and multicultural teams
✓Administrative skill on any relational database engine, MS SQL 2012 or higher preferred
✓Hands on experience on Remote Monitoring of database servers
✓Monitor production systems and provides support for production related issues in a 24×7 environment
✓Knowledge of database backup & recovery

✓Exposure to VMWare or Virtual Server/ Virtual PC would be added value
✓Experience with any cloud database platform is a plus
✓Knowledge on MySQL & PostgreSQL is a plus…
